Scope and Contents
This subgroup primarily contains mid-19th century records pertaining to the formation and regulation of the villages and towns in Westchester County (now part of Bronx County) including the Towns Eastchester, Kingsbridge, and Morrisania and the Villages of Eastchester, South Mount Vernon, Wakefield, and Williamsbridge. There are also records from the Town of Westchester dating back to 1665.
