Biographical/Historical Information
William Kennel was a police officer who held the rank of roundsman. He was custodian of the Mayor's office in City Hall, admitting all those with business there. He served in this position from 1895 to approximately 1903 during the administrations of Mayors Strong, Van Wyck, and Low.
