Scope and Contents: The Public School 500 (Speyer School) experiment was a cooperative program of the Board of Education and Teachers College, Columbia University to develop and implement specialized curriculum for two distinct groups of children: slow learners and fast learners. The series consists of publications of the project: curriculum bulletins for special units of study, and a final report. The final report provides a bibliography of articles and other publications relating to the experiment.

Scope and Contents: The series consists of publications by the Division of Elementary Schools designed to assist teachers in various phases of instruction. Included also are publications specifically intended for parents and for newly appointed teachers.
