Scope and Contents
This subseries contains materials relating to appeals by parents associations and community organizations within school districts and schools. Topics include the eligibility of people to serve on a parents association in a school, principal and superintendent selection, conflicts of interest, parent grievances against community school boards and schools, and the parent association election process. Other appeals relate to school closings and new zoning plans for school districts. Some cases in this subseries overlap with those filed by community school boards.
