Correspondence, memoranda, notes, newsletters, brochures, resumes, reports and clippings of Jeremy Brown and Philip Saperia, Jewish Community Affairs Unit liaisons within the office of Joyce Brown, Deputy Mayor for Public and Community Affairs. Subjects include the Crown Heights disturbances, immigrant rights, Israel Bonds, neighborhoods, prominent individuals and the Salute to Israel and Purim parades. Before the formal establishment of this unit, Herbert Block, Assistant to the Mayor, was assigned as liaison for Jewish Community Affairs.
