Scope and Contents
This subseries contains material used by the Dinkins administration principally for hiring staff before and shortly after the start of his tenure, as well as to plan and monitor personnel matters into 1992. Material types include resumes, correspondence, notes, memoranda, reports and a small amount of printed material. Resumes take up the bulk of the subseries and are attached to tracking sheets containing a detailed analysis of experience and skill for referral within the administration. Each resume was numbered as it was received. Some of the earlier records appear to have been created by Reginald Valentine, Deputy Director of Appointments, and later incorporated into Cosme's records.
