Scope and Contents

Series contains memoranda, notes, date books, account statements, time sheets, invoices, order forms and other financial records. The records document purchases from individual vendors for food, flowers and supplies for mayoral events and receptions held at Gracie Mansion and other locations and similar expenses for the mayor’s household. There is some information on the nature of events themselves, and their sponsors, in memoranda and printed material. The records include bank statements for accounts drawing on several imprest funds and authorizations for transfer of funds. Also included is employee insurance information and city vehicle parking violations.
