Scope and Contents
The series contains applications, permits and attached correspondence, reports and printed material. The files were used by the Community Assistance Unit to grant, and monitor preparations for, street festivals and similar outdoor events. The approved permits indicate the name of the organization and their representative; place, date and time; type of event and specific details concerning food, sales, electrical and structural set ups, and other needs. There are also reports from applicants that detail the event’s financial aspect, particularly projected income. Application log numbers were assigned in approximate chronological order.
