Existence: 1982-2005

Established by Executive Order No. 6 of February 8, 1978 as the Community Board Assistance Unit. In 1982 the name changed to the Community Assistance Unit and again changed in 2005 under Mayor Bloomberg to the Community Affairs Unit.
